What is Awana?

Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. Awana establishes welcoming, supportive environments where kids, from every background and cultural setting, learn how a personal relationship with Christ affects their everyday lives. At Faith Baptist we have three sections: CUBBIES (ages 3-5), SPARKS (Kindergarten - 2nd Grade) and T&T (3rd Grade - 6th Grade). Each Wednesday night we begin our activities at 6:30pm, finishing around 8pm. Each evening begins with the Pledge of Allegiance to the USA flag and the Awana flag. The rest of the evening is split into three sections that the children rotate around in their age groups - Games, Verse Time and Singing/Story time. Emily is a young girl from Appleton, Wisconsin with a heart to reach others with the gospel. She loves to invite her friends to church. Each week, she prays her friends will understand how much Jesus loves them. Here, she explains why reaching out is so important.
